The recipient of a bachelor's degree in political science from Syracuse University, Kitty Doupe is a former EMT who now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she coordinates combat training exercises for members of the United States Air Force. Kitty Doupe has 18 years of military experience and is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Over the past 11 years, Sport Clips Haircuts has raised more than $5.5 million for the VFW Foundation through its Help A Hero initiative, which provides scholarship funding to individuals pursuing post-military careers.
